Sensio 13412 Bella Cucina 18-Quart Roaster Oven Review

I bought this roaster because I was dreading another hot southern summer with the oven on.I love this roaster.It's a nice size.It has a removable rack.I've cooked meats and baked cookies in it.Everything turns out delicious.I can put the roaster outide and slow cook my meats; they come out browned and delicious and my house stays cool.The cookies turned out great too.If I use my toaster oven pans or smaller oven pans I can cook two things at once.

It also has a removable liner so it's super easy to clean.

The only recommendation I have is put it outside and burn it off for the first use.Reviews I read on other roasters said the same thing.It did smoke and smell terrible the first time I turned it on, so I put it outside until the smoke and smell went away before I cooked anything in it.

Other than that I have no complaints about this roaster.

Calphalon Classic Bakeware 9-by-13-Inch Rectangular Nonstick Brownie Pan Review

This is the second one of these pans that I have purchased.We have 2 homes and I liked it so much that I bought another so I would have one in both places.It is perfect for any brownie recipe for a 13x9 pan.The brownies bake up perfectly.Just remember to line your pan with parchment paper that hangs over the narrower 2 edges.You will be very happy with your baking results.

Joyce Chen 11-Inch Burnished Bamboo Tongs Review

Bought these tongs because I was tired of using the nylon/silicone tongs we've had for ages and seeing all kinds of food items slip out of them.

These bamboo tongs have been fantastic.The bamboo grain has an interesting ability to grip onto things.Food items from bacon to chicken breasts to hot dogs can be picked up firmly without any concern that they will slip out or be dropped.

The length also means you can use them without fear of getting burned, although unless you have a pretty strong grip (which my wife does not, it seems) you still have to grip them a little more than halfway up.(which means you're not a full 11" away from the hot pan.)

All in all though, in the short couple of months we've had these I've found myself reaching for them more often than our other cooking tongs.

Only think I don't like: the brand sticker used on the top of the tongs left some sticky glue residue when it was removed.Not a big deal - it's easily removed with some goo-be-gone or similar.

Betty Crocker Clean Cookin' Oven Liner Review

I really like this product.It doesn't work with spills that go underneath the liner, but it keeps the bottom of the oven clean and doesn't interfere with the baking process.I will continue to buy and use it.

West Bend 76026 High Speed Baking QuikServe Oven, Black/Silver Review

This oven is aesthetically pleasing but takes up a lot of counter space. It seems a lot of thought went into the design , for example the nice weight cooking pan has a separate lift bracket with stay cool handles. However, if the top part were just 2 inches talller it would have more functional use. I cooked Ore-Ida oven fries in it on the supplied non-stick pan and they were quickly cooked perfectly with an enhanced potato taste. Then later I cooked manicotti in a small and shallow rectangle glass Pyrex dish. Part of one of the top elements had burned melted cheese on it. Both items cooked much quicker than if I had used my regular sized convection oven or my convection microwave oven since no warm up period was required. However, it seems everything has to be place only on the cooking pan which is about the size of a medium frozen pizza. This greatly limits the everyday use of this oven. I had hoped since my toaster-oven recently died that this item would take it's place, but that is not the case. I will probably still use it for fries and frozen pizza, but if I'm baking cookies, a cake or a pie then I'll use my microwave or full sized oven.

I LOVE this oven, I've had it before!! Its PERFECT for Breads,muffins,cupcakes, cookies, etc!!!BUT, I DON'T use it for ANY greasy foods....Only because the oil (from the meats,chickens,etc)splatters, and SLOWLY gets stuck on the fan part(convection setting), and after a few months,the fan for the Convection oven setting slowly stops rotating at the speed it should.Its difficult to open up, and clean off the blades to the fan also.So, but as far as the oven goes, its great, for ALL PASTRIES!!! Cooks the breads, etc, evenly, and perfectly everytime!!! Pizza works very well in here too! We make our own 12" pizzas and use this oven ALL the time!! As far as the shipping company goes,"CEVA", IT'S AWFUL,AWFUL,AWFUL.*** Amazon should change the shipping company! They were LATE, after I waited way past my delivery time, they told me they were running late, and i had to wait a few hours more. they are NOT punctual at all, and they do not ring the bell.they leave the item at the front door!! No Good!!!

Waring Pro TCO600 1500-Watt 6-Slice Convection Toaster Oven Review

this is our first convection oven, we've searched around for a while for a convection oven that was in this price rangebut every other oven we read about on here, Target, and Sears had electrical and fire problems with them. Since I didn't see the first review on this oven before I bought mine I probably wouldn't have bought it, but since owning this model for half a month its pretty good for the price. This oven cooks better than our old gas oven. After each use I make sure I unplug and that goes with any device that generates heat, I mean would you leave an electric heater running when your not using it, no you unplug it. On the first few days of owning this model we baked pizza's in it up to 400 degrees for 30min front to back and we didn't run across any problems. So far so good. I recommend this model if you read the instructions before using it.

DeLonghi DO400 1400-Watt Digital Control 4-Slice Toaster Oven Review

I used to have a much larger toaster oven, but having subsequently bought my first microwave, when the big toaster oven died, I looked for a smaller toaster oven to free up some counter space.I've had this for about a month, and I think it's quite good for what it is, but for what it is, it's overpriced.If it were cheaper I'd rate it higher.It broils beautifully. The oven heats very quickly, which is great.By my measurements, it's about 50 degrees above the requested temperature in middle ranges, as has been noted by others. But small toaster ovens are always unreliable on precise temperature.That's why all those frozen foods that come in microwave containers say don't cook them in a toaster oven (which you can do just fine, by the way, if you know how far off the temperature is).I prefer toast a little lighter than it makes toast at T-1, but it's okay.I miss features like the hook pull-outs, which not only pull the shelf out when you open the door but keep the door from crashing up and down, and the pull-out, rather than drop-down, crumb drawer. It's a perfectly adequate small toaster oven, but it should be either a little better or a little cheaper.
