this is our first convection oven, we've searched around for a while for a convection oven that was in this price rangebut every other oven we read about on here, Target, and Sears had electrical and fire problems with them. Since I didn't see the first review on this oven before I bought mine I probably wouldn't have bought it, but since owning this model for half a month its pretty good for the price. This oven cooks better than our old gas oven. After each use I make sure I unplug and that goes with any device that generates heat, I mean would you leave an electric heater running when your not using it, no you unplug it. On the first few days of owning this model we baked pizza's in it up to 400 degrees for 30min front to back and we didn't run across any problems. So far so good.
